Death Certificates:
1. Check the current deed to see how the deceased person owned the property.
a. If Joint Tenancy, then it is a name change.
b. If it is Tenancy in common then you will have to look for a TOD deed,
Executor Deed or a probate.
c. If only 1 person owns the property there has to be a probate or TOD deed
even if current deed is joint tenancy.

2. Look in AP01 notes, the old map work cards and WebDocs. If you cannot
find anything then make it a Map Work Card.
3. Call the Register of Deeds if you don't have a copy of the deed to find out
how it was owned.
4. Be sure and note in the doc log if you could not find any documents.

FYI: Sometimes, a probate is filed right after the property is transfered and we
have not got it yet. So, it appears to be a map work card. It will be
changed in the log after we get the probate.
