Parcel Builder Administrator: SPLITTING A PARCEL

First set the Task Mode to  "Add New Task", and set the task type to "Split" as shown above. When the Create Task button is pressed, parcel builder will create a new parcel ID number, and add it to the list at the top.  The parcel ID can be adjusted before adding it to the list if needed. The new parcel is not linked to the map yet so it is white as shown below.

When the new parcel is linked to the GIS map, the color will change to yellow.

Start the editor in GIS, then add the new point using the Link Button.

After the parcel point has been added to the GIS and the parcel split out, then you can add the Calculated Acres, book and page, MWS notes, Owners, deed date, and the new property description as shown above.
