Plat Mapping Sheets

  One of my responsibilities is to check new subdivisions for the register of deeds.  The new subdivision is usually emailed to me as a PDF or brought into my office. 

   I  COGO the legal description written on the plat to locate the platted or re-platted parcels. Check for overlapping parcels, or other discrepancies. 

  Next, look up the parcels in Orion and get the Owner names and book and page numbers of the parcels.   This information is printed on the Plat Map Worksheet as shown below.

Save the map work sheet in G:\GIS and Mapping.  I also export a pdf for emailing.
